Tesla Model 3 - a truly awesome car

Tesla is a funny company. When I first ordered my Model 3, I chose the fancy 19" wheels. After thinking about it, I called the next day requesting to go back to the Aero wheels - not as fancy but 5-10% better range. I'll spare the long story but after more than a few calls, they still somehow didn't change the order and my car arrived with the fancy wheels (which oddly enough I like better). When I went to pick it up, I was scheduled for 9:30 am. At 10:30 I left and finally came back at 2pm. So their customer service needs a bit of work...

But this car is THE MOST AWESOME vehicle I have ever driven. And I've had lots of fast cars. When you hit the gas, whether it's zero to 60, 40-70, 60-90... it's just shockingly fast. The raw torque presses the back of your head into the head rest. First time passengers just blurt out "My GOD!!". And yeah - lots of car companies are coming out with EVs. But my son had a great analogy. Tesla is like Apple - every part is made for a specific reason for an electric car. Other companies are just, for example, sticking a Malibu body on a bunch of batteries.

The interior is gorgeous (the whole car is gorgeous). The technology is efficient, creative, and effective.... climate control has unique controls, the sound system is great (although oddly enough there's no AM radio)... it even automatically opens my garage door when I pull in the driveway. A truly incredible feat of engineering.

Tesla - you guys rock. I didn't really need another car but I am SO glad I bought it.
