So after not posting for a while, I've decided to change my blog.

Rather than comment on news items and events - since there's way too much of that jamming our brains these days, I've decided just to comment about books I've read. It's really a selfish goal - few people read this blog so it's essentially a mechanism for me to go back and recall some of the key points of books.
