Climate change - I'm a believer.....but

My problem is that listening to the media, political ranting and raving, environmental groups..., one would draw the conclusion that unless we - as in US citizens - get our act together and stop emissions of carbon, the fate of the globe is at stake. And according to scientists, it might already be too late.


If fact, US and European carbon emissions have been declining since before 2010. The biggest increase by far is China. India is coming on strong as are other emerging nations. Their argument is simple - it isn't fair for developed countries who've been huge carbon emitters for a century or more to now hold back growth in emerging nation's growth. Ok, fair enough. But...rather than march and protest here in the US and Europe, let's all put our heads together and figure out a fair and global solution to reduce emissons without reducing emerging market growth potential. That's the big issue to be solved.
